We believe in a strong Children’s Ministry. During our gatherings, children up to 5th grade participate in a special program just for them. Right now the program is a special part of the service that is directed to them. Once we are back at our New Hope Campus, the program will again include team building activities and a biblical lesson that is reinforced by different types of hands-on activities. We are so happy to see children and teens engaged in positive and meaningful interactions as they discover God’s love for themselves!

Students are an integral part of who we are as a community. During our Sunday gatherings, we encourage students to help, or even run, several ministries, such as teaching in the children’s program, participating in worship through music, working with the audio/visual technical support, and more.

We have a very active youth group, called DIOKO, which meets from September to May on Friday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, in Lisbon, WI.  Dioko intentionally combines middle school and high school (ages 13-18) in order to foster opportunities for student mentorship.

Dioko meetings begin with fun and fellowship.  The students organize games, socialize and talk.  Then there is a time when we sing worship songs together, also organized and led by students, followed by snack time! Snacks are always in abundance…everyone will have their fill!  Afterwards, the guys and girls are split for prayer time, where we listen, console, and pray for any issues they are facing in their lives.  No one is excluded, no one is judged, and everyone is encouraged to speak freely about their feelings. We typically end the night with more fun and games!

The Bible studies we use discuss relevant issues that the students face in the world we live in today. The leaders field all kinds of questions;.  From Creation to the teachings of the Apostles, we do it all!

Small groups are a vital part of connecting in fellowship with other believers, and also an important way to grow in your faith. We run different small groups throughout the year, and are always looking for ways to do more. Groups for women, for moms, for men, for dads, for couples, for new believers, for those who are grieving, for those looking for work, and for those who want to study a particular book of the bible or a particular topic are all great ways to decide to set up a group. If we don’t have a current group that works for you, reach out and let’s see if you can help us get one started. Groups can be as small as 3-4 people, can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and can meet for a semester or just a few weeks.

It doesn’t have to be complicated, so let us know if God has put it on your heart to create a group and we will work to help make it happen!
